Scarlet Girls + My body, Our rights

Drawing on the film 'Scarlet Girls', set in the Dominican Republic where all forms of abortion are prohibited, this year's festival opens up the important conversation about women's rights to their own bodies.
What is the global situation regarding the right to self-determination? From the United States, where several states have rolled back abortion legislation, to other parts of the world where the right to abortion is still under pressure, we focus on the political climate surrounding women's rights and discuss what this means for human rights.
Join us as we delve into the topic with global policy advisor at Sex & Samfund, Zoe Anna Skovby Burke, researcher at the Institute for Human Rights, Annika Frida Petersen, and chairwoman of the Danish Midwives Association, Nina Olsén Nathan, and learn more about how the fight for abortion rights is unfolding around the world. The conversation is moderated by cultural critic and reviewer, Nazila Kivi.

This conversation will be in Danish.
